David Peter Copas Born 16 February 1960 - died 31 December 2023. Loved son of Edward and Ellen Copas (both deceased) Brother of Rita (deceased) (Canada) John (New Zealand) Margaret (UK). David struggled through life and died of natural causes in Southend aged 63 years and is now at peace. Private cremation has taken place. Any communication to jecopas@xtra.co.nz.Tributes

David had his problems and made few friends. He was my younger brother and I hadn't seen him for over fifty years. I never got to know him as the miles kept us apart nor did I tell him I loved him and now it's too late. He is out of all his problems now and resting at last. RIP David
