Julian Ware-Lane
SOUTHEND councillor Julian Ware-Lane is calling on the Government to stop pubs being demolished.
Southend Council will discuss the motion calling for the move next Thursday.
If the motion is passed the council would work to lobby the Government to change planning laws.
Developers do not need permission to demolish a pub.
