A CONRETE firm boss has been found not guilty of killing an employee who was crushed by a cement mixer truck.
A jury at Chelmsford Crown Court acquitted Simon Bromley, 45, of the manslaughter of Lee Balkwell.
Mr Balkwell, then 33, was found dead under the drum of a cement mixer at Baldwin’s Farm, in Dennises Lane, in South Ockendon, about 1am on July 18, 2002.
