CHILDREN at junior schools have been treated to a masterclass from a musical maestro.
Recorder students from West Leigh Junior School, in Ronahld Hill Grove, Leigh, and from Bournes Green Junior School, in Ladram Road, Thorpe Bay, gathered at the former to learn from international recorder virtuoso, Piers Adams.
Mr Adams, as well as other guest players, performed for children in years three and four before carrying out a workshop with members of the schools’ recorder club.
Mr Adams is a professional recorder player, is known as the modern day pied piper and now tours the country giving workshops for school children.
