NO TRAINS are running on the Greater Anglia line between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street due to overhead line problems.
Passengers have been warned to expect disruption until 7pm today.
The operator is advising customers to postpone their journeys this afternoon.
A Greater Anglia spokesman said: "Because of overhead wire problems near Shenfield there are currently no services running between Liverpool Street and Shenfield, Billericay and Chelmsford in both directions.
"You are therefore requested to postpone your journey between Liverpool Street and Southend Victoria, Clacton on Sea, Ipswich and Norwich until at least 7pm.
"At 5pm we will inform you if the situation has improved to a level that we can lift this advice."
Replacement buses are being arranged and Greater Anglia tickets are being accepted on c2c, TFL Rail, London Overground, London buses and London Underground services.
