AMBULANCE crews were called to a pub after an elderly man collapsed and died.
Paramedics were unable to save the man and he was pronounced dead at Anne Boleyn pub in Southend Road, Rochford, at about 3.30pm.
A spokesperson for the Anne Boleyn said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends at this difficult time.
“Clearly this was a distressing incident so we are also making sure our team members, who dealt with the situation impeccably and followed all the necessary procedures, have all the support they need.”
