The M25 was blocked after a car burst into flames on the road.
At around 6.35 this morning reports said that a vehicle had caught on fire, blocking a lane of the road.
The lane blocked traffic on the M25 moving clockwise, near to junction 29 at the A127 and 30 at the A13.
Police, firefighters and Highways England traffic officers were all on the scene for the incident.
Highways England confirmed nobody was injured during the fire.
During the incident, traffic had been pushed back by around two-miles.
The vehicle was moved onto the hard shoulder of the road and by around 7.05am traffic was moving more freely.
