Drivers are facing more than seven miles of queues on the A13 this morning, following a lorry fire last night.
The major road heading Westbound has been completely closed off at the A1012 in Grays after the incident yesterday and works are underway to resurface the damaged road.
This is causing long delays on the A13 and heading all the way back to the M25.
There are already more than seven miles of delays – with heavy traffic heading all the way back to the A176 Five Bells and are affecting surrounding roads.
A diversion route is in place, drivers should follow the signs.
