A MAN had to be rushed to hospital after he fell ill while working up high.
The worker suffered a "medical episode" at Tilbury Docks yesterday morning (Monday, May 9) and needed assistance from both Essex Fire Service and East of England Ambulance Service.
Firefighers had to move shipping containers and use an aerial ladder platform to get to the man.
The rescue operation took around two hours and the man was assessed by paramedics before being brought down to safety.
