SOUTHEND Airport’s last passenger flight of the year is taking off today - and will be livestreamed for all to watch.
The easyJet flight will take-off for Palma de Mallorca this evening, with holidaymakers having to wait until March before flights make a return to Southend.
The budget airline giant will be running flights from Southend Airport from late March next year.
SDTV Press will be hosting a livestream of the final flight from the airport at about 5.45pm this evening.

A Southend Airport spokesman tweeted: "Tune in at approx. 5.45pm this evening for a livestream of the final easyJet flight this calendar year, hosted by SdtvP!
"...Trick or treat? We'll let you decide."
The airline giant returned to Southend Airport in May with its inaugural summer flight heading to Mallorca.
And the return of passenger flights to Southend has proved a massive success with holidaymakers lapping up flights to Faro, Malaga and Majorca.
