Officers also made one arrest for driving whilst disqualified, dealt with another driver for driving with no insurance and seized two vehicles.
The specials also helped one beleaguered residents whose vehicle had broken down.
A police spokesman said “We're working hard to reduce deaths on our roads. If you witness poor driving on Essex Roads and capture it on your dashcam, please submit your footage via ExtraEyes.”
The roads targeted were chosen in partnership with the police’s partners at Safer Roads using data from speed surveys and KSI (Killed or Seriously Injured) statistics.
