The A127 was partially blocked in south Essex after reports of a van fire.
The major road was partially blocked eastbound between A129 (Rayleigh Weir) and Progress Road.
This is due to an earlier van fire, according to Essex County Council's traffic control.

All lanes have now re-opened however traffic remains.
During the closure, traffic was slow back to A1245/A130 (Fairglen Interchange). Drivers faced delays of around 40 minutes, according to AA.
