An e-scooter rider has been fined after crashing into a car exiting Shoebury Common car park.
Edyta Glowacka, of Fraser Close, Shoebury, was riding an e-scooter in Shoebury Common Road on August 23 last year when she rode along the path across the exit to the car park and crashed with an exiting vehicle, Colchester Magistrates' Court heard.
The offence was proven in the 44-year-old's absence on March 9 and she was fined £440.
She must also pay costs of £110 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £176.
Her driving record was endorsed with 6 penalty points.
The court also heard she drove the e-scooter in a road without a licence and uninsured.
