HUNDREDS of Easter prizes will be won by customers taking part in an easter egg hunt at a popular arts and crafts retailer.
Hobbycraft in Southend is hosting an Easter egg hunt at its shop in Retail Park, Unit 2 London Road, Westcliff.
Customers will be in the chance to win up to £250 to spend in-store and online.
Throughout the week Hobbycraft will be hiding a bespoke Easter egg in every one of its UK shops for customers to find.
The retailer's TikTok channel will be sharing daily clues on where the egg has been concealed in-store, alongside a list of which sites have a hidden egg on that day.
On the day the egg is hidden in Hobbycraft Southend, local customers will be in a race to find the winning crafty prize, which will vary from discount codes to gift cards worth up to £250.
Those who are first to the egg will be able to collect their prize from a colleague at the till, while customers who just miss the boat will still be able to enter a prize draw to win a £100 Hobbycraft gift card.
Online shoppers will also be able to participate in the nationwide egg hunt, as Hobbycraft will be adding a winning egg to randomly selected orders placed on the website throughout the week.
Katherine Paterson, customer director at Hobbycraft, said: “What better way to start the Easter holidays than with a good old fashioned egg hunt.
“With plenty of exciting prizes up for grabs, we look forward to seeing the craft community get their thinking caps on and try out our TikTok challenge.”
The event is on from Monday, April 3 to Friday, April 7.
