Residents have seen a British Airways jet circling around Southend Airport this afternoon.
A spokesman for the airport shared photos and videos on social media as the British Airways Cityflyer landed (and quickly took off) at the airport.
They made aviation geeks aware as the plane was en route for a number of practice circuits at 1.45pm.
The jet was operating a number of "touch-and-gos".

The airline's city flyer E190 was diverted in to Southend Airport from London City Airport on March 13 due to high winds.
The planes used to be a regular sight, according to air traffic control, as they would often land at the airport when weather conditions meant they were unable to land in London.
