THIS month, stars including Jason Donovan and East 17 are heading to Basildon for a brand-new pop festival.

Poptasia, “the biggest pop festival Basildon has ever seen”, is coming to the borough later this month.

It will be held at Gloucester Park on Saturday, April 29.

There are many stars lined up for the festival and here is a list of the top names.

Those behind Poptasia, are the same as those behind Soultasia, a festival heading to Maldon in June 2023.

They have a licence for around 5,000 people, and there will be food, bars and stalls on offer as well as the live music.
