A popular Southend seafront hotel has unveiled its newly refurbished beachside terrace in time for summer.
Roslin Beach Hotel has revamped its "beachside utopia", The Garden, boasting white walls adorned with beachy tiles and panoramic views of the estuary.
The Roslin's website states the outdoor dining area is inspired by the "warmth of Palm Beach and luxurious laid back al fresco dining".
It adds: "This secluded, laid-back space is warm by day and cosy in the evening with sensational sea views and atmospheric surroundings.
"Bask in the sunshine with a cool glass and lunch alongside the lapping waves, or watch the spectacular sunsets with a fine wine or one of our infamous cocktails."
The hotel notes on its website The Garden's opening times are weather dependant and are subject to change at any time.
As a result, any outdoor bookings could be cancelled due to area closures, as the hotel cannot guarantee a table indoors.
The 4-star Thorpe Esplanade hotel is popular among many famous face, including Tyson Fury who chose to stay at the hotel during the Christmas holidays when he visited the city.
He praised the hotel’s managing director Jacqui Dallimore for making the stay memorable at the time, saying: “I would say this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in.
“Jacqui is absolutely fantastic, very welcoming, she treated me like a family member and I’d probably say it is the most Christmas-decorated hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s like Santa’s grotto.
“So if you’re local, stop in and check it out.”
A £10million expansion of the seafront hotel is set to begin next year, creating additional rooms and parking.
The plans were agreed last year for the hotel to undergo a major revamp creating five plush new rooms and more than 60 extra car parking spaces.
