EASYJET has announced its flights from Southend Airport to Amsterdam will continue through winter to next year.
Hundreds of excited passengers boarded the maiden flight to Amsterdam Schipol Airport when it took off from south Essex last month.
And now holidaymakers will have the chance to jet off for a winter experience of the Netherlands with easyJet announcing further services from Southend.
The 52 minute flights will start in November and will run to February, operating twice a week on a Monday and a Friday and costing passengers just £24 for a one way ticket.
easyJet customer and commercial director Caroline Fitzgerald said: “We are delighted to confirm that easyJet flights to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport will continue into winter 2023 and are on sale now.
“Passengers can now choose London's quick and easy airport to travel to Amsterdam from November, as well as the recently announced Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, connecting them with more than 300 global destinations.
"The addition of these flights to our winter schedule is further demonstration of the clear growth and recovery that I and the team at London Southend are committed to.
"We look forward to sharing news of more growth with you soon."
