A person appears to have suffered life-changing injuries after a serious crash on a major motorway in south Essex this morning.
Emergency services were called to the serious crash involving two lorries this morning on the M25 between junction 30 and 31, at about 10.30am.
Two lanes were closed at the junction 30 clockwise exit while emergency crews dealt with the incident.
There was also a partial closure of the junction 30 roundabout.
Essex Fire and Rescue service has reported that two lorries and two cars collided.

Firefighters worked to rescue two people who were trapped in their cars by 11.45 and both were left in the care of the ambulance service.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a collision on the M25, the Mardyke Junction close to Aveley, at about 10.25am.
"Two lorries appear to have been involved in a collision, blocking part of the roundabout and affecting the surrounding slip roads.
"One person appears to have sustained life-changing injuries and has been taken to hospital.
"We are at the scene on the roundabout and disruption is expected for some time."
Two lanes remain blocked at the time of writing with severe delays in Thurrock due to recovery work after the incident.
Drivers were warned to find alternative routes as they faced a 50-minute delay on approach with four miles of congestion.
