A MAN has been pronounced dead after ambulances rushed to a supermarket car park in Shoebury Asda.
Emergency services were called to Asda, in North Shoebury Road, Shoebury, following reports of a medical emergency.
Residents took to social media to show an air ambulance landing in the field next to the supermarket.
Sadly, depsite the best efforts of the medical teams, a man was pronounded dead at the scene.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 1.09pm to a medical emergency in the car park of Asda Stores on North Shoebury Road in Shoebury.
"Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
"Sadly, despite the best efforts of the medical teams, an adult man was pronounced dead at the scene.”
