All traffic has been stopped on the M25 this evening rush hour with severe delays in Essex amid a "vehicle fire".
All traffic has been held on the M25 anticlockwise due to a vehicle fire at junction 25 with congestion back to junction 26, in Essex.
AA traffic news is reporting "severe delays" of 48 minutes, which are increasing, between junction 26 in Waltham Abbey and junction 24 at Potters Bar.
It is reporting an average speed of five miles per hour.
