A POLICE investigation has been launched following a man being found dead in Colchester.
Officers were called to Bourne Court, Colchester, shortly after 7.30am this morning, Friday, April 12, to concerns for the welfare of a man outside a property.
The force said they found a man had died.
Police have confirmed at this stage, the man’s death is being treated as “unexpected” and under investigation.
A spokesman added: “As part of the investigation, there will be a policing presence in the area throughout the day.
"At this stage, we are appealing for anyone who witnessed an incident or any suspicious behaviour in the area within the last 24 hours to come forward and speak to us.
"Equally, we’re also asking Bourne Court residents to check doorbell footage for the same period.”
