A SOUTHEND United player has been arrested on suspicion of attacking a man outside a nightclub.
Jemal Johnson, 26, who signed for the Blues in the summer, was arrested in connection with an assault on a man outside Faces, in Cranbrook Road, Gants Hill, Ilford.
Former Premier League footballer Johnson was arrested yesterday by officers of London’s Met Police. He has now been released on bail.
