AN exciting new element to the Olympic Mountain Biking course at Hadleigh has been revealed for the first time.
A “technical rockery feature” for the world’s best cyclists to scramble over during August’s two-day Olympic event was unveiled by Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Secretary Caroline Spelman.
Mrs Spelman dropped into Hadleigh for a tour of the 5km course at the Salvation Army Farm, in Hadleigh.
She also paid a visit to the Salvation Army Rare Breeds Centre and met council chiefs to talk about how the course will leave a legacy for the people of south Essex after the event.
