TWO fire investigations have been launched after a home, garage and car were damaged in blazes.
A car was found well alight when crews from Shoebury and Southend went to a garage fire in Ashanti Close, Shoebury, at about 10.45pm last night.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and foam to extinguish flames. The incident was dealt with by 11.10pm.
Earlier that night two crews from Southend raced to Hillcrest Road, Southend, after calls of a fire in a roof void just before 7pm.
The fire appeared to be out when they arrived at the three-storey terraced house but they removed part of the roof void to check for remaining hotspots with a thermal image camera.
The incident was dealt with by 7.50pm.
