HAVING fun with balloons proved to be a big hit with youngsters at Leigh Community Centre.
The community centre is hosting a series of affordable, fun events over the school summer holidays, which are proving to be extremely popular.
The latest session gave youngsters the chance to learn how to make figures and other items out of balloons.
Bex Balloons visited the centre to teach everyone how to make a sword, dog, hat and even an octopus!
There is much more to come, however. The Holly Jolly Company will be providing fun for the boys with a fabulous pirate party on Tuesday, August 15, from noon until 1pm.
It willl include balloon twisting, swords, bubbles, music, dancing, singing, a treasure hunt, pirate games and magic to keep everyone entertained.
There will be many other activities to suit all age ranges over the six-week break. All tickets are priced at £4 per child per session and are non refundable.
The events have been heavily subsidised by Leigh Town Council.
