Fire at industrial unit pic: Lou Flynn
A large fire broke out at an industrial unit in this morning.
Fire crews were called to the scene at 1.04am to the the industrial unit, located in Durham Road, Laindon.
On arrival firefighters reported that the industrial unit was 100% alight and that the building has collapsed.
Essex Fire Service said this incident has produced a lot of smoke and residents in Laindon are advised to keep windows and doors closed.
