A WHEELCLAMPER who kicked a man he was trying to clamp in the groin has lost an appeal against the assault conviction.
Edward Lapenna, 40, from Harridge Road, Leigh, who worked as a clamper for notorious company LBS Enforcement, was given a 12-month conditional discharge in March at Basildon Magistrates Court after being convicted of assaulting a pizza delivery man whose van he clamped in Station Avenue, Southend, on October 1 2010.
Lapenna appealed the conviction, but Basildon Crown Court has dismissed it.
