BLUES goalkeeper Ted Smith was forced to drop out of the squad for Saturday’s clash at Fleetwood after suffering a shoulder problem in training.
Smith’s place on the bench was taken by youth team shot-stopper Nathan Bishop but boss Phil Brown does not expect Smith to be out of action for long.
“Ted suffered a little knock in training and felt something in his shoulder,” said Brown.
“It’s not serious but it was good to be able to call on Nathan because this kid has has a real chance.”
