GARRY Kimble has been appointed the new manager of Great Wakering Rovers.
Kimble succeeds Iain O’Connell at the Burroughs Park helm.
O’Connell resigned as boss last week, having led Rovers to the Essex Senior League title last term.
And Kimble will now set his sights on maintaining Wakering's Isthmian North status.
Kimble takes over having gained experience in the dugout with the likes of Tilbury, Burnham Ramblers and Witham Town.
The 51-year-old guided Witham to two promotions in three seasons before parting company in 2016.
And the former defender, who counts the likes of Charlton Athletic, Fulham and Dagenham & Redbridge among his former clubs, will be joined on the sidelines by David Patient, Johnny Ray and Curtis Whyte.
