OSEI Sankofa has been released by Southend United.
The versatile defender had spent the last two seasons with Blues, making 44 appearances.
But he will now be looking for a new club this summer.
“I think Osei needs to go and get himself more games next season to be honest,” explained Southend manager Steve Tilson.
“His opportunities have been few and far between with us because Simon Francis has been in such good form.
“That was shown by him winning player of the year so it’s been hard for Osei as they play in the same position.
“He’s always worked hard and given his all for us though and we wish him all the very best for the future.”
