SCHOOL SPORT: Basildon Academies’ football team will face Towers School in their bid for national cup glory. The secondary school booked their place in the quarter-final of the English Schools’ FA under-16 cup with a win on penalties over Riddlesdown Collegiate.
Basildon will have home advantage against Towers School — which is based in Ashford, Kent — for the tie, which must be played on or before Saturday, March 5.
