Note: This Notice relates to the proposed introduction of traffic management measures on the A13 London Road and Kiln Road between the Sadler’s Farm roundabout and 200 metres south-east of Chapel
Lane, and Chapel Lane from London Road to the Hadleigh Farm venue. It is anticipated the measures will be operational for a period of up to 5 days, whilst the order is in force. The measures will
become effective and be removed as close as operationally possible, to the start and end of the Olympic Games.
Olympic Delivery Authority (No TV15) Traffic Order 2012
1. The Olympic Delivery Authority, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport, hereby gives notice that on 11th April 2012 it made the above named Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 14(1) of the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006, under Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (therein after referred to as the Acts). The Order will come into force on 29th June 2012.
2. The general nature and effect of this Order will be to :- a) introduce ‘No stopping’ Clearway restrictions on London Road and Kiln Road operating ‘8am - 6.30pm’; b) Introduce ‘No stopping’ Clearway restrictions on Chapel Lane operating ‘at any time’; c) Ban the U-turn from London Road west bound to London Road east bound at the junction with High Street, except Official Vehicles.
3. The Order is necessary to introduce traffic management measures on the Olympic Route Network (ORN) to implement the Olympic Transport Plan and to facilitate transport services in connection with the London Olympics.

The documents will be available for inspection for six weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
5 Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Acts or that any requirement of the Acts have not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
