Licensing Act 2003 Notice of Application for Variation of a Premises Licence

Gala Leisure Limited has given to Basildon Borough Council an application for Variation of the Premises Licence in respect of Gala Club, Southernhay, Basildon, SS14 1DH.
A brief description of the proposed variation is: to vary the layout of the premises to reflect a modernisation scheme, including a smoking shelter; to add the diner servery as an alcohol sales point. The Licensing Register of Basildon Borough Council is kept at The Basildon Centre, St Martin's Square, Basildon, Essex, SS14 1DL and where applicable at www.basildon.gov.uk.
The record of the application may be inspected during normal office hours at the Council's above address and where applicable, at any time on the above website.
Representations which shall be made in writing may be made by a responsible authority or any other person to Basildon Borough Council to be received at their above address by no later than 24 May 2012.

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application; the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction being £5,000.
