NHS staff are being offered free tickets to In The Park festival in Southend, headlined by pop chart toppers McFly with the Stereo MCs, Scouting For Girls and more.
Organisers have donated 500 tickets to staff to say thank you for their commitment to caring for others during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In The Park takes place at Garon Park, Eastern Avenue, on Saturday July 31. Also on the music line-up are Eliza and the Bear, Lauran Hibberd, Ruti, The New Twentys and Noahfinnce.
A comedy stage will feature Markus Birdman, Maisie Adam and Ian Smith, while a podcast stage, pop-up vintage stalls, a funfair and lots of food and drink stands will also make up the attractions of the day.

A spokesman for In The Park said: “This is an opportunity to celebrate being back with friends and family, have a dance and sing along to some great music.
“We want to say a big thank you the NHS staff who put everyone else first during the pandemic and give them an opportunity to let their hair down for the day.”
