Maureen Anne York 31st July 1934 to 3rd May 2013 Husband Vic and Family, sadly announce the death of Maureen. Adored Wife, Mother of seven and Grandmother to seventeen. Died peacefully in our own home as was her wish. Community Nursing Sister for many years in Billericay and Pitsea. She gave unstintingly of her loving care to so many people for so many years. The funeral will take place on 14th May with a Mass at 1.00.pm at Holy Trinity Church, Wickhay, Basildon SS15 5AD. Followed by interment at Herongate Wood Cemetery, Billericay Road, Brentwood, CM13 3SE. For those wishing to celebrate her life, lived with kindness and selflessness we will meet afterwards at The Cavalier Suite Ye Olde Plough House, Brentwood Road, Bulphan, Essex RM14 3SR. Family flowers only please, but Maureen would have welcomed donations to -: St. Lukes Hospice at Home, Marie Curie or the British Heart Foundation.
