Anne Patricia KELLARD 72, of Heybridge, Maldon, Essex, died on Saturday October 26, 2013 at her home surrounded by family. Anne was born March 12, 1941 first child of James and Ellen Gowers. Following the family's move from East Ham London, to Leigh-on-Sea Essex, Anne was the first of the family to be educated at Westcliff High School. Anne worked and lived around the UK and also briefly in South Africa, she was adventurous and followed several different career paths, excelling in everything she turned her hand to. She was a member of several social groups and charitable organisations, loved to travel and easily made friends wherever she went. An avid Jazz fan - Trad Jazz being her favourite - Anne would travel far and wide with her long-time partner Albert Parkin to enjoy her passion of music and dancing. Anne was a devoted mother to Joanne, David and John who predeceased her, and will be sadly missed by her surviving son Robert and granddaughter Marla, both of London. Anne is survived by her former husband Bobby Kellard of Southend; her four siblings, Jeffrey (Sylvie) of Devon, Margaret (Jim) of British Columbia Canada, Susan (Duncan) of San Felipe Mexico, and Christopher (Melanie) of Nottinghamshire, who will all miss their 'big sister' with her sunny smile, great sense of humour, caring and generous ways, and stories of her many adventures. The Service to celebrate Anne's life will be held at Southend Crematorium on Tuesday, November 12th at 2.40pm - arrangements made by Guivers Funeral Directors. A reception will follow at The Ekco Club, Southend. Flowers are welcome or donations can be made in Anne's name to: Farleigh Hospice, Bentalls Complex, Colchester Road, Heybridge, Maldon, Essex CM9 7NW
