Barbara DEVEREUX 78, born July 29, 1936 Lost her battle with cancer on March 23, 2015 at 12:15am. Widowed from her husband James in 2006. They left the UK shores initially in 1957 setting up home in Canada and raising their 6 children; Mark, Michele, Nikki, Melissa, Matt and James, before sailing across the Atlantic and into the Mediterranean in 1995. They happily settled into Thorpe Bay 11 years ago and enjoyed their twilight years here. A celebration of Barbara's life, strength and love of her family and friends, will be held on Monday March 30, 2015 at 11:15 in St Georges Catholic Church on Ness Road, Shoeburyness. This will be followed by a service at Southend Crematorium at 12:40. She is survived by her 9 much loved grandchildren; Samantha, Nathan, Max, Alex, Jared, Austin, Natasha, Kathryn and Milena. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Fair Havens Hospice may be sent c/o S. Stibbards & Sons Ltd., 74 Ness Road, Shoeburyness, Essex SS3 9DG
