PEGGY FLOATE 1920 - 2015 The death has been announced of teacher Mrs Peggy Floate at the age of 95. Mrs Floate, head mistress of Swan Mead School in the 1970's and 80's was secretary, then president of the flourishing Basildon Schools of Music Festival. She was respected by all who worked for her, adored by all who knew her.
