Joan Ada Doreen Clutterbuck

CLUTTERBUCK Joan Ada Doreen Joan sadly passed away 18th April 2020, aged 85. A loving and much-loved Sister and Sister-in-Law, Aunt, Cousin and Godmother - she was also a wonderful friend to many over a long period. Joan taught at Rayleigh Sweyne for over 30 years retiring in 1994 as Head of Maths. Post-retirement, Joan became a Lay Reader, attached to St Mary's Church, Ramsden Bellhouse. Due to current restrictions, the cremation will be private, but there will be a Thanksgiving Service at St Mary's when circumstances permit.

RIP Dear Ms Clutterbuck you were the best Maths teacher and all round nice person and you showed so much patience with me which is why I worked through my SMP maths workbooks I was CLASS OF 1989 and we all loved you and remember you so well .. lots of love to your family ..You were someone to be proud of having in any family X lots of love from Miles Jackson (former student at Sweyne from 1984 to 1989)

Very fond memories of Miss Clutterbuck teaching me PE in the late 60s. Energetic, talented and a great teacher - I carried on with netball playing for a staff team when I became a physics teacher and owe that to her.
