McGirr (Formerly Simpkins) Margaret The family are sad to announce Margaret passed away peacefully on Friday 3rd December. She leaves 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Margaret's funeral will be held in Suffolk in January. Margaret was a former nurse at Southend hospital, (known as "Simmy") a local manager for Oxfam, worked with families through Homestart and a volunteer for other agencies during her life with us.
