Reginald Thomas George Watson

Reginald Thomas George "Reg" Watson 2.11.1927 - 19.2.2022 aged 94. Reg passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family. Much loved Husband, Dad, proud Grandad and Great Grandad. Grateful thanks to the team of carers from Brooks and Leigh District Nursing Team for their care and kindness to Reg. Funeral service to be held in the South Chapel, Southend Crematorium on Tuesday 15th March at 3 pm. Immediate family flowers only. Reg requested no black clothing and if you wish to make a donation please do so to a charity of your choice.

Myself and my Wife had the pleasure of working with Reg at the COOP in Eastwood Road North up until his retirement in 1993. A hardworking Manager who taught me a lot and kicked my backside if needed (and probably was). A true gentleman though and he gave me his wooden handled pen knife of the day he retired which I still have tucked away safely. Our thoughts and best wishes go to his family at this time. Rest easy now Mr. Watson.
