MAJOR Leonard "Grandad" MAJOR Leonard, Mayfield Avenue, Hullbridge, passed away peacefully at home with family at his side, on 12th August 2022. Dear husband to the late Ann, loved father to Peter and much loved grandfather and great grandfather to James, Lenny and Charlie. Funeral service on 2nd September at 11.20am at Southend Crematorium.

Len was my uncle and I remember many happy holidays and Christmases with uncle Len and auntie Ann when I was a child. He had a great sense of humour and was the life and soul of a party.
I know that he thought the world of his grandson and great grandsons, and he'll be missed by everyone who knew him
