Peter Colwill Nolan "Pete" It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Peter, aged just 68, who passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, 9th August 2022, in the care of his family. Peter will be greatly missed by his wife Diane, his family, and all his friends who were lucky enough to have known him, either during his 'temporary' 28 year career with Midland Bank, or afterwards as a train driver on the Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street line. He was also a lifelong member of the Southend Model Railway Club. All friends are welcome at the funeral, which takes place at Southend Crematorium, in the West Chapel on Friday 16th September 2022, at 11.20 a.m. and afterwards at the Saxon Hall, SS2 6UN. We would prefer family flowers only, but donations can be made on the day, or via J.W. Tates, North Road, Westcliff, in Pete's memory, to Cancer Research UK or MacMillan's.
