Duncan STOTT 13.11.1953 - 06.07.2012 Passed away peacefully at home after an illness bravely borne surrounded by those he loved. Sadly missed by his Wife Wendy and Daughter Ara Funeral service to take place at Basildon Crematorium on Wednesday 18th July at 2.40pm All welcome Family flowers only, donations if desired to Fairhavens Hospice or Macmillan Nurses. Hi, I am so sorry to hear of Duncans death. I knew Duncan many years ago and was very fond of him. We used to go out to the pubs in leigh and I remember that the first place that I went to was his flat in Leigh when I passed my driving test! I was only talking about him a week or so ago and rememberin my youth at that time and cannot believe that he has passed away before I could get in touch!! I hope that he is smiling down, with his beloved Mum and listening to his music with his guitar in hand!! He introduced me to many artists that I still listen to today. Jackson Brown and Leon Redbone!! Even though I had no contact with him for 33years or more, I am still very sad to hear that he has gone. Tracy Cook xx
