POPULAR comedy night Three Flying Ducks returns with a visit from Scottish comedian Stephen Carlin.
He is fresh from having two successful Edinburgh shows under his belt and support slots for the likes of Stephen Merchant and Stewart Lee – with the latter dubbing him one of the ten best comedians in the world ever.
Known for his intricate knowledge of international snooker and his love of whisky, he has appeared on TV shows, including ITV2’s Comedy Cuts and Radio 1’s the Milk Run The Guardian described him as ready to become at the very least a cult favourite among fans of the sharper end of stand up.
He’ll have support on the night from offbeat Canadian comic Pat Burtscher, who’ll have the audience in stitches – although they may not know why – with his baffling blend of of silly humour and imaginative ideas.
Stephen Carlin is at Three Flying Ducks at the Ship, New Road, Old Leigh on Thursday, November 29. Doors open 8pm, tickets are £8 advance, £10 on the door, call: 01702 716 614.
