TWO men have been bailed after a van smashed into a police car in Stanford-le-Hope.
The men were arrested by officers who responded to reports of a house burglary in London Road at 10pm last Wednesday.
A 20-year-old man from Stanford-le-Hope, who was driving the van, was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, burglary, failing to stop, driving dangerously and various traffic offences and has been bailed until May 27.
A 22-year-old man was arrested in Stanford-le-Hope on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and possession of drugs with intent to supply and was bailed to July 2.
