Two arrested in connection with cannabis raid
Two people have been arrested in connection with growing cannabis following a raid on a house.
Officers swooped on the home in Church Road, Thundersley on Wednesday evening where they unearthed at least 30 cannabis plants.
They arrested a 38-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both from Benfleet, on suspicion of producing cannabis, possession of cannabis, and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
They have both been bailed until Wednesday July 3.
