LIAM Gallagher’s band Beady Eye have pulled out of the V Festival as guitarist Gem Archer continues to recover from a head injury.
He was in hospital for several days after suffering a “severe head trauma” and is recovering at home.
The band – formed from the ashes of Oasis, minus Liam’s brother Noel – have already cancelled shows in Belgium and Japan.
They were due to play the Chelmsford festival next weekend.
Oasis had to pull out of the Chelmsford leg of V in 2009 when Liam became ill. It meant their Staffordshire V show that year was their last.
