Man racially abused in Westcliff
POLICE would like to speak to a man after a man was racially abused in Westcliff.
The incident happened in the street near to Zafron Tandoori, in London Road, at about 6.30pm.
Officers are looking to speak with a white man, aged about 35 to 36, 5ft 8ins tall, and with a shaven head. He was wearing a white T-shirt and chequered shorts.
Anyone with information about this incident, which happened on on Saturday, July 13, is urged to contact Pc Paul Sutcliffe, or his colleagues at Southend, on 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
